Through her experience in residential real estate and knowledge of the local market, Murphie guides clients through renovations or new construction of their homes. She helps identify current or timeless trends that would bring the most value to a client’s home. She is extremely knowledgeable of the market conditions in Nashville and with the use of comparable sales, she can accurately predict the future value of a home, post renovations. She understands the importance of taking the time to get to know your client and creating a personalized customer experience from beginning to end.
Murphie has always had a passion for architecture, design and construction. Her passion for construction grew when she started dating Richard in 2012. She has learned a lot by watching Richard navigate the construction world. Her favorite thing about the industry is how it is ever changing, allowing her to learn something new every day.
Murphie attended the University of Alabama Huntsville and graduated from Athens State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Healthcare Administration. Her professional background consists of healthcare management, healthcare sales, and real estate. Strong communication, great attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills is what has gained Murphie great success in her real estate career. Now she brings those skills and passion for delivering an exceptional client experience to CGC.

Murphie Clem is the President of Clem General Contracting. Murphie is responsible for the company's business and financial development.
Prior to starting Clem General Contracting in 2019, Richard spent 14 years in the construction industry in various roles ranging from field engineer, assistant superintendent, project controls engineer, estimator, and project manager. Some of the highlights of his career have been his time spent working overseas in Nigeria and Swaziland building United States Embassies. Richard specializes in commercial and residential work in both new construction and renovations.
Richard believes that his clients are his most valuable asset. The budget, schedule and quality are his top priority, but delivering an unmatched client experience is what sets CGC apart. He aims to turn his clients' vision into reality, through an open-book policy and a long-lasting partner relationship.
Richard's accomplishments began at a young age when he proudly achieved the ranking of Eagle Scout, from there he has gone on to receive several recognitions in the construction industry and certifications such as OSHA 30, NRMCA, Certified Competent Person for Excavation and Trenching.
Richard was born and raised in Alabama, before moving to Nashville in 2014. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Building Science and completed a Cooperative Education Program at Auburn University.
In his free time, Richard spends time with his wife, 2-year-old daughter, and two Goldendoodles. His hobbies are traveling, golf, yoga, and patiently posing for his wife's pictures.
